An Abstract Journey
Color photographs commissioned by Stern Magazine for their 2005 year-end issue on the subject of Hurricane Katrina. The story concerned a group of mentally ill men living in a halfway house in New Orleans who had to manage on their own after being dropped off at the Superdome. They managed to escape together; beginning a long journey to and through Texas that eventually returned most of them to their New Orleans home, a place called Abstract House.
